Required Information at Sign-Up
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Password (securely stored using encryption)
Optional Information You May Provide Later
- Date of birth
- Period details (length, frequency, cycle length)
- Health conditions related to your menstrual cycle
- Body temperature readings (entered manually)
- Fertility and pregnancy test results (entered manually or via photo upload)
- Photos of fertility or pregnancy tests (stored securely in the App and analysed to provide results)
Shared Information (Optional)
- You may choose to share your cycle information, test results, and related photos with fertility clinics of your choice. This is entirely optional and under your control.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and maintain your account.
- Provide you with fertility and cycle tracking features.
- Analyse fertility and pregnancy test photos to display results within the App.
- Personalize your experience and insights.
- Enable you to optionally share data with fertility clinics you choose.
- Improve the functionality and reliability of the App.
- Communicate with you regarding your account, updates, or important notices.
3. How We Share Your Information
- With fertility clinics (only if you choose): If you opt to share your data, we will securely transmit your selected information to the clinic(s) you designate.
- With service providers: We may use trusted third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, and customer support, who are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or court order.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your personal information, test photos, and results are stored securely using encryption and modern security practices.
- We implement measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data.
- Passwords are encrypted and cannot be viewed by Bloom staff.
- Data is stored on secure servers located in the USA.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Access & Correction: You can access and update your information at any time within the App.
- Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hello@bloomhealth.pro.
- Sharing Controls: You have full control over whether to share your data with fertility clinics.
- Consent Withdrawal: You may withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
- Legal Rights: Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under data protection laws (e.g., GDPR in the UK/EU).
6. Children’s Privacy
Bloom is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
- Required account information is retained for as long as you maintain an account.
- Optional health data is retained until you delete it or request account deletion.
- Shared data with clinics will be subject to their retention policies once transmitted.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App with the updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
